I met a young man in Honduras this past winter named Brian. He is a human picture of passion. Brian is from Southern California and has been living in Honduras for a good part of the last year.

Brian worked with others to develop a documentary on the people of Cocal Gracias and is working to raise money to complete a new school and community center to give these people hope.

We met Brian on our visit to Puerto Cortez in January as we were building the new church facility for the La Esperanza community. The church is the linchpin that will connect the future clinic, school and community center.

Brian is emblematic of the post-modern young person seeking to make a difference. He will tell you that he came to Honduras with a mission team, fell in love with the people, and made a life-changing decision to leave the comforts of America and live with these beautiful people for a year.
