So how did you find out about the Chile earthquake this morning? For me, I read about it on Twitter from my iPod Touch while trying to decide to get out of bed.
Even CNN is asking Tweeters near the epicenter to help report on the disaster.
As we watched coverage for a little bit my 10 year old son asked if we would have a tsunami here in Ohio. My wife explained that wasn't a problem for us.
This led to a discussion about an earthquake we had back in the 80's on a Sunday afternoon here in the great Buckeye State.
Remember that one?
I was in my bedroom at my Mom and Dad's house doing homework. I remember sitting back in my chair on two legs and almost being knocked to the floor. I also remember one of my siblings being angry because they thought someone was playing a joke on them. Strange how the memories flow back.
Then, as happens often, 14 year old Steven asked, "So, what's for lunch today?"
Pray for the folks in Chile....
