It's out to challenge iPad. The Wall Street Journal has a new review posted on the tab.
The upside:
- The Tab is cheaper than iPad.
- The Tab can multi-task (but iPad will be able to also in the next week or so).
- The Tab has two cameras.
- The Tab plays Flash videos.
- The Tab runs Android.
- The Tab is smaller (7 inch screen, which some may consider a downside), about the same size as the newer Kindle model
- The Tab is lighter.
- The Tab has less horsepower.
- The Tab has a smaller screen (which some may consider an upside).
- The Tab has a plastic case.
- The Tab has a much less efficient battery.
- The Tab does not come in a "WiFi" only version.
One thing is for certain. I won't be waiting at the door for the UPS man to get a Tab. Instead, I'll be waiting for the iPad iOS upgrade.
ALSO: Also, BlackBerry is announcing it's new tablet, the Playbook, will be priced under $500.
