Tornado Safety Tips: Long Before the Storm

It's snowing outside where I'm at (thanks to Winter Storm Saturn) but it's also Severe Weather Awareness Week. We all have seen how a tornado can devastate an entire community over the past several years.

We all know there are safety measure that we should take when a tornado watch or warning is issued.

But there are also some things we can all do, long before the storm, to protect our property and our family. Here are some helpful tips from my company, Nationwide, on how you can mitigate damage from a tornado, long before the sirens start wailing that a dangerous storm is about to arrive.
